Unified Security Group will be celebrating its 13th year anniversary in April 2010. Managing Director and Founder comments ‘The company has gone through some arduous times over the years and just like most new businesses it struggled to make a profit for the first five years. However over the past decade we have managed to secure a piquant and perpetual position in the market place.

The company now employees over 350 staff and with office locations in 6 states and an additional proposed location in Northern Australia late 2010. Unified’s success is not only thanks to our hard working and dedicated management team, but right down to the staff representing us on the ground every day. Our staff are not only being recognised as employees but are forever part of the Unified family, with our high retention rate speaking for itself.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my partners for their commitment and unconditional dedication that is sure to be inimitable. I could not think of two other individuals I would want to be in business with, they have been a great asset to the company and have indubitably contributed to its success..

A special thank you must also go to all our loyal clients, some of which have been with us for over 10 years, the success of Unified Security would not be prominent without their ongoing support.’ An anniversary celebration is sure to take place in the latter half of the year to celebrate this special mile stone.

Unified Security Group is in the process of uploading an online store as an addition to our existing website.The store will accommodate a number of different security and non security related products, including electronic CCTV products, employee supplies, apparel wear and much more.

Official launch date has not been nominated however it is said to be online prior to the end of April 2010.

Unified Security Group is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of the Security Services Contract for Integral Energy.

The Integral Energy security services contract comprises the provision of security patrols and manpower services to over 200 critical infrastructure sites throughout NSW.

According to Unified Security Group General Manager, Mr Damien Johnson “We are extremely appreciative of the opportunity to service Integral Energy throughout NSW, this acquisition provides further evidence of our ability to service large scale multi service contracts. Whilst we are always appreciative of acquiring new clients we believe it is equally important to recognise our existing clients for their ongoing support. Without the ongoing commitment of our existing clients acquisitions of this nature would not be possible.

Oct 1, 2008 On the 1st of October 2008 Unified Security’s Management team made the decision to transfer its paper based Quality Management System to a Computer Based Quality Management System utilising the latest in database technologies. Through a powerful combination of a Document Management System (DMS) and a Content Management System (CMS), integrating desktop applications, as well as the ability to create in-house electronic forms and deploy them via any Internet browser online, this system controls the flow of information to the right department heads and allows for reporting and approval workflows. Unified has named this computer based Electronic Quality Management System: Electronic Quality Assurance (eQA).

On the 11th September 2009 Unified’s Electronic Quality Management System was recertified by SAI Global for another 9 Months. ISO9001:2008 accreditation continues unabated with further development of Electronic Systems for the continued utilisation by the organisation to effectively manage our clients, staff and organisational interests.
