Quality Assurance

Unified Security Group has actively maintained an internal Quality Management System that has over its years of operation relied heavily upon in controlling our internal management processes. This has allowed us to progressively increase our productivity base whilst effectively controlling our internal management cost base. This translates into direct cost saving for our clients. Mismanagement of a security contract is one of the top reasons contracts aren’t renewed with an existing provider, or even existing contracts being terminated prematurely by the client. Unified Security realises this fact and has prided itself on maintaining since 2002 an uninterrupted ISO9001 accreditation (latest rev. ISO9001:2008) on its internal Quality Management System.

Unified’s Electronic Quality Assurance (eQA) is a further development on top of our current Quality Management System (QMS) that allows Clients the ability to login online through our website and interact directly with our QMS. This level of integration allows users of the system to engage Unified’s management on an unprecedented level. Through our designated Client Portal Client users can participate in discussions, fill in surveys on a Monthly, Quarterly or on an Annual basis, request new services, modify existing services, or simply generate a memorandum that can be broadcast to an individual or to the department that is responsible for the scope of the issue that is raised.

This allows for clearer understanding of Unified’s Clients needs and minimises the time in which responses are made.

Occupational Health & Safety

Occupational health & safety (OH&S) is a key component in managing and gauging risks associated with each given Client Site, regarding Client Personnel, Unified Security Staff, and of course members of the public. The ability to manage these concerns start at the training level for all Unified Security staff which are given an initial briefing on the site that they are to be occupationally situated at and suitable induction training that prepares them for the rigors of working in accordance with OH&S regulations. Key documentation is provided to all staff at all sites so that mandatory and statutory requirements are continually being met at all times.

Unified Security ensures that for our personnel and your workforce alike that the following conditions (including but not limited to) are constantly monitored and reported upon:

• Safe systems of work
• Information, instruction, training and supervision
• Suitable working environment and facilities.
